A Hydraulic Separator is a device used to separate solid particles and colloidal impurities from liquids or gases. How it works:
When the treated medium enters the cylinder, it first contacts the conical plate to form a liquid-solid two-phase zone (gas-solid two-phase zone), and then the solid particles cannot enter the gas-liquid interface and flow away with the fluid through the blocking effect of the slag baffle plate. When the fluid flows through the slag baffle plate, it is subjected to a certain resistance and produces a pressure difference (static pressure), which pushes the liquid in the upper space of the conical plate to enter the front of the gas-liquid interface in the lower part and discharge. At the same time, as the pressure decreases, suction forces the liquid in the upper space to return to the lower space and flow to the outlet end. This completes the filtration process of solid particles.
