Some advantages of brazed plate heat exchanger include high thermal efficiency, low pressure drop, and the ability to handle high temperatures and pressures. They are also easy to maintain and have a long service life. However, they may not be suitable for applications involving fluids with high particle content or corrosive properties, as the plates can be susceptible to fouling or corrosion.

Brazed plate heat exchanger for cold storage follow the following basic flow principle: parallel flow or diagonal flow is used to complete the heat exchange process. In the single-pass design, the connections are located on one side of the heat exchanger for easy installation.

In order to make the function of the heat exchanger play out, it should be reasonable calculation and selection according to the characteristics of the central heating system, at the same time, we should pay attention to the scale, blockage, corrosion and other problems of the heat exchanger; and the daily operation management of the heat exchanger, and take measures to reduce the adverse impact of scale, blockage, corrosion on the heat exchanger heat transfer efficiency and heating effect.
