Condenser Cross-flow Efficiency Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger
Brazed plate heat exchanger is a series of corrugated metal sheets stacked in a vacuum brazing furnace after welding a new type of high efficiency heat exchanger, the plates are covered with mesh contact points, fluid flow along the corrugated channel between the plates, its speed size and direction constantly change, forming strong turbulence, thereby destroying the boundary layer, reduce thermal resistance.
Each corrugated mesh junction of the brazed plate heat exchanger becomes a welding point, so the strength increases, and compared with the traditional Gasket Plate Heat Exchanger, not only eliminates the rubber pad that is easy to leak, but also the thickness required for the heat transfer plate and the cleats at both ends is greatly reduced, reducing the heat transfer resistance. The price of this heat exchanger made of high-quality stainless steel material is only equivalent to the price of a Shell And Tube Heat Exchanger using ordinary carbon steel material with the same heat transfer capacity.
Because of the above characteristics, brazed plate heat exchangers have a tendency to replace the traditional shell and tube heat exchangers in some fields, so the heat transfer performance and flow resistance of plate heat exchangers are preliminarily studied.
